A Great Place to Live

Situated in the middle of the UK Leeds is also the regional capital of Yorkshire meaning you can enjoy a city break and country retreat in one.  Inside the city you will find everything in easy reach.  It is just a short walk from one side to the other and along the way you cannot fail to find something to match your tastes.  With an abundance of shops, museums, theatres, music venues, restaurants and bars Leeds is likely to please you.  It’s also only a ten-minute walk from our campus!  Outside the city you’ll find rolling hills, stunning countryside and a whole host of historical sites.

Further afield, Sheffield, Liverpool and Manchester, are close by and all other major UK cities are easily accessible by metro, bus, rail, coach or air, with the sights of London just over two hours away by train.  If you wish to go further still Leeds is served by two major airports; Leeds Bradford, seven miles away from campus, and ­Manchester, with regular flights available to a huge number of European and International destinations.

Leeds has residential areas to match almost any requirements; some of these include trendy apartments and waterside villages perfect for city living and professionals.  You will find attractive family suburbs with a number of well performing schools within minutes of the city centre.  A little further still and you will stumble across leafy suburbs offering popular family dwellings close to parklands, woodlands and lakes.  Leeds is also great value and compares favorably in comparison to London and the Southeast of England.

The choice of schooling in Leeds is plentiful, with leading state primary schools such as Horsforth Featherbank and Hampsthwaite CE along with leading secondary schools such as Roundhay and Farnley Academy.  There are also reputable independent primary schools including Queenswood and Rose Court Nursery and Pre-prep and reputable secondary schools including Fulneck and The Grammar School At Leeds.  Leeds offers children with differing requirements a fitting solution.
